Kirsten is an Associate at Fragomen’s Troy office. She represents corporations and individuals in the automotive, technology and higher education industries in immigration matters, particularly extraordinary ability pathways and labor certifications.

Before moving back to her hometown and joining the Troy office, Kirsten served as an Associate at an employment-based immigration law firm in Miami, Florida, where she primarily assisted Latin American corporations and individuals with the preparation of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. She also represented clients at adjustment and naturalization interviews, and counseled predominantly Spanish-speaking corporate clients through the labor certification process.

Kirsten first joined Fragomen as a Law Clerk in the Florida office. As a law student at the University of Miami, Kirsten participated in her school’s Immigration Clinic, where she assisted indigent clients in Miami immigration courts and asylum offices with bond hearings, deportation proceedings and affirmative asylum petitions. She also worked for the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, where she assisted victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and abuse in immigration proceedings and provided pro bono naturalization assistance and translation services.

Kirsten provides pro bono services at the New Americans Campaign citizenship drives in both Michigan and Florida. She also has provided pro bono assistance and translation services to unaccompanied minors through Catholic Legal Services in Miami, Florida.

Kirsten speaks English and Spanish.
