Marius is an Attorney (Rechtsanwalt) focusing on German and European immigration and citizenship law. With extensive experience advising corporate clients across industries, Marius focuses on helping companies navigate complex immigration programs while ensuring compliance at every step. His clients range from SMEs, which largely support the German economy, to global corporations in sectors like finance, IT, banking and automotive, making him a trusted advisor on both local and cross-border immigration matters.

As a member of Fragomen’s Government Strategies Group, Marius leverages his deep knowledge to advise government bodies such as parliament, ministries and advisory panels. He also plays a key role in aligning corporate clients' voices with government strategies, bridging the gap between business needs and immigration policy.

Clients appreciate the careful and diligent approach that Marius has when developing tailored solutions to ensure German companies can compliantly recruit talent from abroad and also easily move their employees for business travel within the EU and non-EU countries in Europe. He’s particularly passionate about working with clients to address the skills gaps and in turn positively impact the German economy. His work extends beyond immigration law, as he guides businesses on global mobility programs while addressing related business challenges.

In addition to corporate immigration, Marius is also involved in humanitarian work, advising companies on how to integrate displaced talent into their workforce. His hands-on approach ensures that clients see him not just as skilled immigration practitioner, but as a trusted problem solver who delivers valuable insights into trends, legal developments and strategic solutions.

Marius’ commitment to making immigration accessible and understandable stems from his belief that while the field may seem complex, it plays a critical role in driving business success. His goal is to remove the fear and uncertainty around immigration law, empowering clients with the knowledge and solutions they need to thrive—and make a difference.

A trusted authority on German and EU immigration, Marius is a co-author of the standard immigration law textbook “Einwanderungsrecht” by C.H. Beck and of “Handbuch des Ausländerrechts” by Wolters Kluwer, and is frequently quoted in media outlets, providing commentary on current trends, policy changes and strategic developments.

Marius speaks English and German.
