Michael is an experienced attorney and Immigration Supervisor at Fragomen’s Costa Rica office with more than a decade of immigration experience. He provides tailored legal solutions to individuals and families relocating to Costa Rica as investors, retirees, fixed-income residents or digital nomads. His approach is client-centered, combining legal precision with strategic guidance to ensure smooth, efficient and compliant processes. He is recognized for offering personalized, practical, empathetic support that addresses not only legal requirements but also the personal dynamics of relocation. He also supports multinational companies with immigration compliance, corporate accreditation and work permits for foreign executives and their families.

Michael has accumulated invaluable experience throughout his career, including key roles such as an intern in the Refugee Unit of the Directorate General of Immigration, as well as a paralegal in the Supreme Court of Justice. As an attorney, he played a pivotal role as the head of the immigration law department at one of Costa Rica’s most prestigious law firms.

Michael speaks English and Spanish.
