Michael is a Business Immigration Supervisor at Fragomen’s Costa Rica office with more than a decade of immigration experience. His experience encompasses a wide range of advisory and representation services catering to both national and multinational corporate clients, as well as individual clients seeking immigration solutions. In his role, Michael assists companies with accreditation before immigration authorities, streamlining the process of obtaining work permits for executives and their families. His experience also extends to high-level educational institutions, where he focuses on securing special residency permits for educators. He has also managed immigration-related matters for large-scale educational projects involving the procurement of documents from multiple different countries and the successful completion of all processes related to these projects. In addition to his work with companies and institutions, Michael provides personalized services to individual clients seeking investor, retiree or Rentista visas, along with their family members.

Michael has accumulated invaluable experience throughout his career, including key roles such as an intern in the Refugee Unit of the Directorate General of Immigration, as well as a paralegal in the Supreme Court of Justice. As an attorney, he played a pivotal role as the head of the immigration law department at one of Costa Rica’s most prestigious law firms.
