Sameera provides cutting-edge immigration solutions to corporate clients, ranging from start-ups to industry leaders. She directly counsels multinational corporate clients on all aspects of employment-based U.S. immigration, regulation, policy changes and compliance. Sameera strategizes nonimmigrant visa (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN) and immigrant visa options for clients from a broad array of industries, including Big Data analytics, cloud security, asset management, renewable energy, dental and medical device manufacturing as well as top U.S. academic institutions and non-profits. She assists foreign national employees with employment-based green cards and PERM labor certification, as well as multinational managers (EB-1C), professionals with advanced degrees (EB-2) and skilled workers (EB-3).

Sameera’s pro bono experience includes participating in monthly immigration clinics with Jewish Family Services, naturalization clinics with Ya Es Hora, and the Los Angeles Law Library’s Lawyers in the Library Clinic.

Successfully obtained O-1 approvals for a team of Chinese noodle chefs for a prominent Las Vegas entertainment/gaming corporation; a wrestler from South America; a French video director; a professional baseball team’s ballpark announcer; and a dressage trainer.

Obtained P-1 approvals for a group of European poker players to compete in a poker tournament.

Obtained EB-1 and permanent residency approvals for ophthalmologists and researchers from prominent California and Florida universities and research institutions.

Drafted Motions to Reopen/Reconsider, which were granted for H-1Bs, L-1As and adjustments of status.
