Vanessa is an accomplished lawyer and a workforce strategy and global mobility professional with a distinguished career in Canadian immigration law. As a Senior Immigration Program Manager at Fragomen’s Toronto office, she combines deep legal experience with a strategic approach to workforce planning and global mobility.

With a strong track record in client service, policy development and process optimization, Vanessa has successfully advised both individuals and multinational corporations across diverse industries, including construction, technology manufacturing, mining and exploration, aerospace and defense, international retail and software services. She is highly skilled in navigating complex immigration matters, from visitor records and work permits to student visas and inadmissibility issues.

Previously, as a senior manager and legal leader, Vanessa played a key role in establishing Fragomen’s Montreal office and led a team of bilingual business analysts and associates. She was instrumental in facilitating the mobility of professionals from Francophone markets, including France, Morocco, Algeria and Haiti, helping businesses in Canada access top talent from these regions.

In her current role, Vanessa oversees global partner engagements, fosters high-impact relationships and serves as a strategic liaison between Fragomen’s internal teams, local advisors and multinational clients. She is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency, developing protocols aligned with business objectives, and ensuring world-class client service.

Fluent in English and French, Vanessa is also deeply committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, actively contributing to committees that drive meaningful change in the workplace and beyond.

In her current role, Vanessa oversees global partner engagements, fosters high-impact relationships and serves as a strategic liaison between Fragomen’s internal teams, local advisors and multinational clients. She is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency, developing protocols aligned with business objectives, and ensuring world-class client service.
