Victoria is an Associate and Solicitor Advocate in our UK Compliance & Audit team. She has over seven years’ experience within UK immigration law. Victoria has advised global corporate clients and SMEs from a range of sectors on all aspects of UK immigration law, including private equity, information technology, hospitality, retail, financial and professional services, education, logistics, healthcare and media.

Victoria has extensive experience advising and assisting clients with Tier 2 Sponsor License applications and renewals. She focuses on the proactive management of sponsor compliance, conducts mock audits and attends official Home Office compliance audits. Victoria also regularly advises clients on the implications of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures, as well as internal compliance policy and strategy.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Victoria developed a relationship with Here for Good, the charity helping EU nationals with Brexit while at her previous firm. She led a volunteer team from the firm, which gave free legal advice at numerous events held by the charity in conjunction with the Mayor of London, including on Brexit Night. Victoria also completed a Tier 2 Sponsorship License application for a Multi-Academy Trust on a pro bono basis.

Successfully applied for a Tier 2 Sponsor License for a Multi-Academy Trust educational institution.

Successfully advised a global IT software company on the impacts of its growth-by-acquisition strategy on its Tier 2 Sponsor License. This included submitting the requisite notifications for the acquisition of two global entities, the TUPE transfer of sponsored migrants from each, the addition of linked entities and new sites, and direct liaison with the Sponsor Licensing Unit.

Advised a global corporate on Tier 2 ICT provisions relating to its joint venture with a U.S. entity for a government contract, including the Tier 2 Sponsor License for the joint venture entity and ongoing ICT transfers.

Advised a listed global healthcare company on the immigration implications of a complex split-off, including the TUPE transfer of staff, two concurrent sponsor license applications and subsequent home office liaison to confirm transfer of sponsorship of both Tier 2 general and ICT migrants.

Assisted several global retail, hotel and private equity companies with Tier 5 (GAE) sponsorship.

Obtained Tier 2 Sponsor Licenses for two London restaurants, including successfully guiding the clients through a pre-license home office compliance audit and subsequent sponsorship for a chef.

Advised a nationwide healthcare provider on internal compliance strategy, including policy documents, internal procedures and creating new communication lines within the organisation.
