CBJC Holds Immigration Law Clinic for Homeless Families

In a blog published in the New York State Bar Association’s pro bono newsletter, Fragomen’s Danny Alicea and Lisa Pearlstein, Director of Legal Clinic for Homeless at City Bar Justice Center (CBJC) provide an overview of a recent immigration law clinic that the center held for homeless families.

At this clinic, the CBJC staff identified individuals who might qualify for immigration relief or need assistance with their basic housing application.

CBJC’s clinics are a partnership between its Legal Clinic for the Homeless (LCH) and its Immigrant Outreach Project. Through these clinics, the CBJC provides general immigration legal screenings. Read more.
