Ashish Bhatt Elected to South Asian Bar Association of New York's Board as President-Elect

The South Asian Bar Association of New York (SABANY) has elected Associate Ashish Bhatt to its Board as President-Elect. Following his one-year term as President-Elect, he will transition to the role of President.
SABANY is one of 29 chapters of the South Asian Bar Association of North America located throughout the US and Canada. The voluntary bar association is dedicated to the professional development of lawyers of South Asian heritage. SABANY also aims to ensure the civil liberties of the South Asian community in New York by acting as a conduit between the South Asian community and legal services and educational programs in the area. The associationās goal is to educate South Asian Americans about their legal system and to encourage more participation by the community in the legal profession.
