In an interview published in AMCHAM Luxembourg, Immigration Manager Virginie Todesco outlines why Luxembourg continues to attract international businesses and highly skilled workers.

She says the country’s clear and predictable immigration system, combined with a multilingual workforce and strategic location, makes it an ideal base for talent mobility. Virginie notes that recent tax reforms and the launch of the High Committee for Talent Attraction have strengthened Luxembourg’s appeal, particularly for global employers. She also points to generous work rights for dependents and streamlined post-arrival processes as key advantages. While processing delays and a lack of digitalisation remain challenges, Virginie said Luxembourg’s business-friendly approach and legal certainty still set it apart from many EU countries.
