Australia: New Business Innovation and Investment Program Applications Are Not Being Accepted

The Australian government is not accepting any new applications for the Business Innovation and Investment Program (also known as the “golden visa” program). However, the government will continue to process any applications which were lodged prior to July 1, 2023. The Business Innovation and Investment program is currently under review by the government as they seek to create a new “Talent and Innovation” visa which will include investors, but likely have stricter rules and limitations.
