Austria: Red White Red Card Access Relaxed for those with More Language Skills

Skilled workers with language skills under the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in French, Spanish, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian now receive five extra points under the Red White Red Card points system, and therefore benefit from easier access to the Austrian labor market. Applicants must obtain this certification from one of the various agencies that offer them in Austria and in some cases, the government recognizes certain diplomas as evidence of proficiency in the language.
