Bulgaria: Mandatory New Health Insurance Requirement for Single Work and Residence Permit Holders

As of July 1, 2025, Single Work and Residence Permit holders are included in the State Statutory Health Insurance System and employers must start deducting, paying and reporting statutory health insurance contributions for these workers. Previously, this rule only applied to EU Blue Card holders.
