Effective immediately, the government of Chad has suspended the issuance of all visas for U.S. nationals. At this time, the Chadian authorities have not yet clarified the status of visas already issued to U.S. nationals. The suspension comes in response to the U.S. government including nationals of Chad in a list of nationality-based travel bans.
