Denmark: Significant Government Processing Fee Changes

Effective January 1, 2024, government fees for various residency and work permit applications have changed significantly. Work permit applications and extensions increased to DKK 6,290 (up from DKK 4,670); while family reunification applications (Danish citizen or EU permanent resident) decreased to DKK 8,575 (down from DKK 10,330). Separately, permanent residence permits for work or study now cost DKK 7,475 (up from DKK 7,355); and residence permits for accompanying family members now cost DKK 2,880 (up from DKK 2,635).
