BOSTON – April 13, 2023 – Fragomen, the world’s leading provider of immigration services, welcomes Srinivas “Sri” Ramineni to the firm. Ramineni and a team of lawyers, professionals and support staff joined Fragomen’s Boston office following the firm’s acquisition of the Boston and Atlanta based immigration practice Ramineni & Shepard, LLC.

“Sri has a varied and deep experience in helping a wide variety of companies navigate the numerous immigration challenges inherent in growing their workforce and expanding their business. As we look to further enhance our existing services, especially in the Northeast, we know Sri will bring additional value to clients in the region and we are delighted to welcome him and his team to Fragomen,” said Lance Kaplan, Co-Chair, Fragomen.

Ramineni brings with him two decades of experience practicing law in both the U.S. and India, focusing on corporate immigration and compliance matters for companies in the IT consulting, medical, dental, hospitality and construction industries. He has particular experience in the movement of skilled personnel from India to the US, and also counsels clients on compliance issues such as U.S. Department of Labor H-1B, Wage and Hour and I-9 ICE audits.

“Sri has an incredible network of contacts, primarily within the mid-cap IT industry, that will provide the firm with a phenomenal opportunity to expand our existing services in this sector with its vast population of highly skilled workers,” said Scott FitzGerald, Managing Partner of the firm’s Boston office.

"Our team is thrilled to be a part of Fragomen, a firm that reflects our values and commitment to helping companies create a modern workforce. We are very excited about leveraging Fragomen’s state-of-the-art technology platform and unparalleled industry expertise to help mid-cap IT consulting clients from around the world achieve their goals." said Ramineni.

Ramineni received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
