  • Fragomen has opened new offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, expanding its presence across Asia Pacific.
  • The Vietnam offices will provide local immigration support for businesses and their employees, including work authorization, short-term travel, compliance and government liaison.
  • The new offices strengthen the firm’s ability to support multinational companies managing regional workforces and cross-border talent mobility.
  • The expansion reflects Vietnam’s growing role in the Asia Pacific business landscape and the evolving immigration requirements facing companies operating in the market.

HANOI, Vietnam – November 2, 2026 – Fragomen, the leading global immigration services provider, has expanded its presence in Asia Pacific with the opening of new offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, strengthening its ability to support businesses navigating immigration requirements in Vietnam, and across the Asia Pacific region.

Led by Director Julien Tran, the new offices will enhance Fragomen's ability to coordinate immigration support across key Asia Pacific markets, helping clients manage increasingly interconnected regional workforce strategies.

The new teams will support businesses and their employees with immigration matters including work authorization, short-term travel, compliance, and government liaison.

“Vietnam’s role in the regional economy is evolving, alongside the workforce mobility needs of companies operating here,” said Lance Kaplan, Fragomen Co-Chair. “Opening offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City allows us to support clients more closely in an important Asia Pacific market while strengthening the regional network they rely on to manage talent across borders.”

Vietnam has become an increasingly important destination for multinational companies as foreign direct investment, supply-chain diversification and government initiatives to attract international business continue to drive demand for foreign talent. As organizations establish operations, expand into emerging economic hubs and deploy specialist talent to support business growth, workforce mobility has become an increasingly important consideration.

“Our clients increasingly manage workforces across multiple jurisdictions and need immigration support that combines local insight with regional coordination,” said Mark Buchanan, Regional Partner, Asia Pacific. “Having teams in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City allows us to work more closely with clients on the ground, helping them navigate Vietnam’s immigration framework while providing the seamless regional support they need to move talent efficiently across borders.”

“Vietnam continues to attract investment across a range of sectors driving demand skilled talent and cross-border workforce mobility,” added Tran. “At the same time, employers are navigating evolving requirements around work permits, short-term assignments and increased workforce compliance obligations, audit and enforcement activities. Our presence in Vietnam strengthens our ability to help clients address those challenges locally while supporting their broader growth strategies across Asia Pacific.”
