Fragomen in LA Supports Back to School Community Service Project

Our colleagues in Los Angles recently partnered with the Immigrant Defenders Law Center on a Back to School Project. The Immigrant Defenders Law Center works with over 100 unaccompanied minors from Central America currently in removal proceedings or affirmatively presenting their cases for asylum.

This project aimed at making transitioning to the US school system easier for many of these minors who are entering the US school system for the first time and are part of the some of the most marginalized communities in the city.

Our team collected backpacks, pens, pencils, folders, paper, and other basic school supplies.
