Started in 2012, the annual Global Internship Conference (GIC) convenes global leaders in higher education, industry, and government to drive learning, action, and innovation around the critical task of preparing young people for a global workplace through global work integrated learning experiences. This is where knowledge is shared, ideas are born, connections are made, and dialogue is elevated to advance student success, public diplomacy, and economic development.
The Global Internship Conference will take place in London, England on June 19-21, 2024. Centering on the theme of “Collaborating to Shape Future Talent,” GIC 2024 will provide the platform for colleagues to engage in discussions and debates on the critical role of partnerships to maximize work-based experiential learning opportunities for young people.
Fragomen Senior Manager, Pina Mistry, will join the panel 'Global Talent & Immigration Policies - Will they ever align?' on Thursday, 20 June at 2:30pm. This session will look at how different countries are approaching the issue and how higher education institutions that are helping students transition into global careers are navigating these challenges and opportunities.
