Guyana: Expedited Process for Oil and Gas Companies Eliminated

Due to the fact that the Guyanese government now processes oil and gas companies’ work permits in 14 business days, the prior expedited ‘Right to Work List’ – a process that assured 10-business day processing, is no longer available. The ‘Right to Work List’ process involved presenting a list of foreign nationals whose assignments were urgent to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
