The Hong Kong SAR government has launched the new Top Talent Pass Scheme that was introduced in October 2022. Top Talent Pass holders will receive a two-year visa which allows them to work, establish a business or change employers in Hong Kong SAR. Furthermore, Top Talent Pass holders can submit dependent visa applications that will allow eligible family members to live, study or work in Hong Kong SAR. Applicants may choose from the following three eligibility pathways for the Top Talent Pass: Category A - individuals whose annual salary reached HKD 2,500,000 or above in the past year prior to lodging their application; Category B - Individuals holding a graduate degree from the world’s top 100 universities within the past five years and hold at least three years of work experience; and Category C - Degree graduates from the world’s top 100 universities in the past five years with less than three years of work experience (subject to an annual quota of 10,000).
