Ireland: Email Issuance of Labour Market Access Document for International Protection Applicants

As of January 29, 2025, all Labour Market Access (LMA) Permits for individuals in the international protection process in Ireland are now issued via email (instead of hard copy). Employers seeking to verify a LMA Permit can do so using a dedicated resource at the Department of Justice. This change does not apply to Temporary Protection Scheme beneficiaries, since they are subject to a different regulatory framework.
