
As a reminder of existing policy, UK nationals are exempt from the work permit requirement for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. UK nationals on assignment in Italy should submit a posted worker notification (and any other required local registrations) as best practice. UK nationals seeking to work in Italy for more than 90 days must apply for a work visa and residence permit through the Italian authorities.
