Jordan: Mandatory Social Security Subscription and Process Changes

Foreign nationals are now required to subscribe to Jordan’s Social Security Corporation (SSC) and must complete this process prior to a work permit being issued. These individuals can subscribe electronically through the SSC website under the account of the sponsoring entity in Jordan. In Jordan, social security provides subscribers with unemployment benefits and insurance covering workplace injuries and death.
