Kazakhstan: Investor Visa Introduced

Foreign nationals who invest USD 300,000 in the charter capital of a Kazakh company or in local publicly traded securities may now formally apply for a Kazakh investor visa, which provides visa holders with a pathway to obtain a 10-year Kazakh residence permit. Applicants must be invited by the “Kazakh Invest” agency or the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
