Update - June 20, 2024: Botswana, Eswatini, Gambia, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Sierra Leone, Zambia have also been added to the list of countries whose nationals are exempt from paying the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) fee when traveling to Kenya.
February 22, 2024: Kenya’s Department of Immigration and Citizen Services has waived the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) fee for Comoros, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Republic of Congo, San Marino and South Africa nationals as a result of a reciprocal visa waiver agreement with Kenya signed in 2023. Previously, these nationals were required to pay USD 30 to obtain an ETA. As a reminder, these travelers must obtain a new ETA online for each visit to Kenya.
