Kenya: Technical Issues on the Foreign Nationals Portal Causing Immigration Application Processing Delays
April 4, 2024

Update - April 4, 2024: The Kenya Department of Immigration Services Foreign Nationals Portal (eFNS) is operational again.
February 9, 2024: The Kenya Department of Immigration Services Foreign Nationals Portal (eFNS), which is used to process all immigration services, including work permits, has not been fully operational since December 27, 2023. Foreign nationals and employers who are required to use the portal may have issues uploading new immigration applications and will see delays in the processing and approval of their applications. As a result, foreign nationals and employers should prepare their applications well in advance of any deadlines or expiration dates to avoid potential issues. We will monitor the situation and provide updates to this news brief when the site is fully operational.
