LexisNexis: Looking Ahead: Travel to Europe Under the Upcoming ETIAS Reality

Expected to launch in 2024, the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will require visa-exempt travelers to pre-register their short-term travel in the EU. The system will cross-reference traveler information across databases, such as the Schengen Information System (SIS) and the European Criminal Records Information System (ECRIS).
