The Malaysian government is requiring companies registered in the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) online to update their company information and acquire the latest e-SSM to ensure that their business profiles are up to date. Companies are required to complete this one-time requirement before May 31, 2023, which can be done by logging in to their ESD account, selecting their primary sector/industry, and indicating their approving agency/regulatory body (if applicable). Additionally, companies must specify whether their head office is located within or outside Malaysia, provide overseas head office details (if applicable), and save the changes by clicking "CONFIRM SAVE" before May 31, 2023. Fragomen will assist in updating these details through the ESD portal during Work Pass applications.
