Malaysia: Online Multiple Entry Visa Applications Opened

The Immigration Department of Malaysia announced that applicants can now apply for Multiple Entry Visas (MEV) through the online MYVISA application (eVISA) facility. Applicants can apply for the MEV for certain purposes such as business, tourism and medical treatments. Applications for purposes of endorsing Long-Term Passes (such as the Employment Pass, Professional Visit Pass, Dependant Pass, etc.) cannot be done on this platform since such applicants cannot convert a MEV to a Long-Term Pass, and must instead apply for a Single-Entry Visa (which can be done via the eVISA facility) to enter Malaysia and complete their work authorization process.
