Qatar: New Digital Platform for Retired Qatari Nationals Seeking to Work in Private Sector

The Ministry of Labour has launched a new digital platform called “Istamer” for retired nationals of Qatar seeking work in the private sector. Eligible job seekers must set up their digital profile by providing personal information and must submit a resume, experience certificates, and a copy of a Qatar Identity Card through a link on the Ministry of Labour’s website. The system will automatically assess the profile and will match the candidate with available institutions for potential employment based on their skills and expertise. There are no minimum salary requirements, and candidates can work part-time or full-time. It is expected that most vacancies will be available in private education, private healthcare, hospitality and hotel industry, as well as private security.
