Republic of Congo: New Entry Requirements for Business Travelers
February 2, 2023
The Republic of Congo immigration authorities have issued new documentation requirements for entry. Visa-required business travelers must now provide a copy of their signed proof of letter of invitation with a validity of three months, and their valid consular business visa to the authorities upon arrival to the Republic of Congo. Visa-exempt and nationals eligible for a visa-on-arrival entering the Republic of Congo for the first time only need to provide a copy of their signed letter of invitation to the authorities on arrival. Failure to present the required documentation may result in denial of entry or a fine determined at the discretion of the immigration official.
