Over the past 18 months, Saudi Arabia has accelerated its Saudisation policy by supplementing its quota system (Nitaqat) with measures designed to Saudise entire professions, including more recently the financial, engineering and healthcare sectors.
These measures, together with the effects of the pandemic, are expected to trigger a seismic change in the demographics of the Saudi workforce and may affect how employers attract, retain and develop talent.
