South Asian Bar Association of North America's 2026 Annual Conference

Fragomen is pleased to sponsor the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA North America) Annual Conference, a leading event that brings together South Asian legal community professionals from across the United States, Canada and beyond.

As part of the conference program, Shafiqa Kureshi, Senior Associate, will speak on the panel Unequal by Design: How Immigration Reforms Are Impacting South Asians and Marginalized Communities. This session explores the framework of U.S. and Canadian immigration systems and examines how policy shifts have negatively affected marginalized communities. The discussion will provide insight into the structural challenges within current immigration processes and the implications for individuals navigating these systems.
