Updated September 4, 2025: The visa waiver agreement has now been implemented in Mozambique, allowing Ugandan nationals to enter the country without a visa for business or tourism purposes for a stay period of up to 30 days.
February 28, 2025: A visa waiver agreement between Uganda and Mozambique has been implemented in Uganda, allowing Mozambican nationals to enter visa-free for stays between 30 and 90 days (at the discretion of the immigration authorities) for business or tourism purposes. We are monitoring the implementation of this agreement in Mozambique and will provide updates as they become available.
