The UK's departure from the EU brought major changes for the thriving British community of Brussels, and totally changed the rules and regulations for UK citizens hoping to move here. Throughout the negotiations and transition, the Expat Welcome Desk of Commissioner Brussels strove to keep UK citizens informed. But what is the picture now, as we approach three years since the end of the Brexit transition period?
Join Fragomen Partner, Jo Antoons on this event hosted by Commissioner Brussels taking place on Wednesday, 29 November, where they will launch the report Brexit Impact Scan for UK Citizens in Brussels and close this two-year project funded by the citizens’ rights pillar of the EU’s Brexit Adjustment Reserve. The event promises to be a celebratory evening full of interesting data and practical advice for anyone interested in the local British community.
After the presentation, there will be a Q+A to address questions from participants.
Speakers:
- Chair: Bryn Watkins, Project and Communications Manager, Commissioner Brussels
- Jo Antoons, Partner, Fragomen Brussels
- Glenn Vaughn, Chair, Brussels British Community Association
