The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization extended the deadline for private sector employers to convert unlimited-term employment contracts to limited-term employment contracts to December 31, 2023. The original regulations had previously set the deadline at February 1, 2023. Employers should ensure that they convert all contracts by the new deadline in order to avoid potential penalties.
