United Arab Emirates: Entry Visa Conditions Announced for Foreign Residents of GCC Member States

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security has announced further information and requirements that foreign residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States must meet in order for them, their dependents and co-travelers, to enter the United Arab Emirates on an entry visa for foreign residents of GCC Member States. These travelers must apply for this entry visa online, which allows stays of up to 30 days with the possibility of a one-time extension for an additional 30 days. Once the entry visa is issued, the traveler must meet the following conditions: the applicant’s residence permit must have been issued by a GCC member state and their passport must be valid for more than three months from the date of entry to the United Arab Emirates; and, if applicable, their dependents and co-travelers must travel and enter the United Arab Emirates with the applicant.
