United Kingdom: Offshore and Wind Project Workers’ Concession Extended

The UK government has extended the concession allowing for the employment of foreign nationals engaged in work that is essential to the construction and maintenance of offshore wind projects in UK territorial waters so that leave to enter under the program will be granted until April 30, 2023 (from the last deadline of June 2022). This is to allow industries and businesses enough time to prepare for any changes that need to be made to ensure compliance with the UK Immigration Rules should they wish to employ foreign national workers to work in UK waters beyond the period allowed by the concession.
