The Department of Labor (DOL) has issued its latest report on PERM and prevailing wage determination (PWD) processing times.
As of June 9, 2025, DOL was conducting analyst review for PERM applications filed in February 2024 or earlier, and the agency indicates “N/A” for the audit processing queue. The latter presumably reflects that DOL has largely shifted away from issuing standard audit requests in favor of issuing Requests for Information (RFIs), which can be processed more quickly but for which DOL currently does not provide posted processing times. DOL is working on reconsideration requests that were filed in March 2025 or earlier.
As of May 31, 2025, DOL was issuing prevailing wage determinations (PWDs) for PERM prevailing wage requests filed in February 2025 (for OEWS-based requests) and December 2024 (for non-OEWS requests), and for H-1B prevailing wage requests filed in February 2025 (OEWS) and January 2025 (non-OEWS). The agency has been processing PERM and H-1B prevailing wage redeterminations requested in February 2025, and PERM and H-1B Center Director reviews requested in October 2024.
