Fragomen 24/7 Travel Entry Emergency Hotline

A Lifeline for Employers with Travelers Facing Urgent Travel Entry or Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Issues

Navigating the ever-changing immigration landscape and dealing with unexpected entry or CBP challenges can create uncertainty and anxiety. To help ease this burden, Fragomen offers a 24/7 Travel Entry Emergency Hotline—a dedicated, subscription-based resource for our clients’ employees who experience urgent travel entry and CBP issues in the U.S.

How It Works

Our hotline is staffed by a team of highly trained attorneys who are available around the clock to assist travelers facing urgent travel entry or CBP issues. Whether your traveling employees are denied boarding by airlines; are in secondary inspection at a U.S. port of entry; are facing potential denial of entry, expedited removal or deferred inspection; or are having an unexpected interaction with CBP at a U.S. airport, land border crossing, on a highway or aboard a train in the U.S., our team is prepared to provide real-time troubleshooting and guidance.

To utilize the hotline:

      • Employers subscribe to the service
      • Traveling employees call in the event of an unexpected travel, entry or CBP issue
      • A team of experienced on-call Fragomen attorneys offer real-time support and guidance

Important Guidelines for Use

While we are committed to supporting our clients and their traveling employees in emergency situations, it is essential to note the following:

      • This hotline is strictly for travelers experiencing an active travel, entry or CBP issue. It should not be used to check case status or for general immigration questions.
      • Pre-travel planning is crucial. If an individual anticipates potential travel challenges—due to prior issues, case complexities, or any other concerns—they should coordinate with their regular Fragomen professional before traveling rather than relying on the hotline.
      • Callers may not be connected with their usual Fragomen attorney. While the attorneys staffing the hotline are highly experienced, they may not be familiar with the specific details of the traveler’s case history.
      • While we can troubleshoot and provide guidance, full resolution of certain issues may need to wait until normal business hours. However, we will assist travelers as much as possible at any hour of the day to ensure they have the best possible support.

Peace of Mind When You Need It Most

Even if your employees never face an emergency while traveling, our subscription-based 24/7 Travel Entry Emergency Hotline will give you peace of mind that seasoned attorneys are always available to help.

For more information about how this service could benefit your business and to learn how to enroll, please reach out to [email protected] or contact your Fragomen representative.
