Alaina is an Associate in Fragomen’s New York office, where she works on an array of complex immigrant and nonimmigrant cases for multinational corporate clients in the financial services, architecture, payment services, software and technology, media and manufacturing industries. She regularly drafts legal briefs, including responses to Requests for Evidence, criminal admissibility, Notices of Intent to Deny and Motions to Reopen/Reconsider.
As a Student Attorney at her law school’s civil justice and immigration clinic, Alaina worked on various humanitarian relief cases, including Asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and Violence Against Women Act cases. She also developed and implemented “Know Your Rights” training workshops for inner-city youth, as well as served on a taskforce focused on local Medical-Legal Partnership developments between the law school and a local Federally Qualified Health Center.
