Ana Sofia is a Knowledge Management Director in Fragomen’s Brussels office, where she leads the team responsible for the firm’s European content. She leverages this information to support country teams in their client deliverables, capturing market trends with the EU Advisory Team and facilitating its integration with the firm’s technology offerings.

Ana Sofia is heavily involved in the firm’s EU Government Strategies working group, where she works with national and EU authorities to implement business friendly practices based on market trends. She is also the DEI lead for the Benelux offices and actively involved in pro bono initiatives, with an emphasis on promoting the rights of asylum seekers and stateless individuals.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Ana Sofia was a Global Knowledge Product Manager at a large U.S. firm, where she developed and managed a suite of technology products. She began her career working in Intellectual Property in international organizations before moving to the in-house legal team at a multinational biotechnology corporation.

After Ana Sofia was admitted to the New York Bar, she worked in a number of Knowledge roles, including at a start-up in New York where she curated and created content for large U.S. firms. She also worked as a consultant where she implemented a global contract lifecycle solution and a clause library for a large corporation.

Ana Sofia speaks English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Experience

Launched a contract lifecycle solution and clause library at a large multinational corporation with over 100 offices worldwide. This involved working with lawyers across multiple regions to create templates of the seven most used contracts to automate in the contract lifecycle solution and gather key clauses in a clause library.

Led the team who developed an innovative platform aggregating and standardizing knowledge content, experts and other team resources across seven practices and 16 offices at a large U.S. firm.
