Ara is an Associate at Fragomen’s New York office, where she advises on complex employment-based immigration matters for leading global companies with operations spanning technology, engineering, design, research and services. Her work focuses on high-skilled immigration strategies supporting individuals with extraordinary ability, advanced expertise and unique professional backgrounds. She partners closely with corporate stakeholders and foreign national employees to deliver streamlined, strategic immigration solutions aligned with evolving business needs.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Ara served as a Senior Associate Attorney at a New York-based immigration firm, where she managed a high-volume caseload of both immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, including H-1B, TN, E-3, O-1 and L-1 visas, as well as PERM labor certifications, I-140 filings and Adjustment of Status applications.
She has provided pro bono services as a Public Interest/Public Service Fellow at The Legal Aid Society. She was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a finalist in both regional and national immigration law competitions during law school.
Ara speaks English and Korean.
