Archana is a Senior Global Client Services and Solutions Manager based in Fragomen's San Diego office. She held various leadership roles with Fragomen India since its inception in 2007 prior to relocating to the U.S. in 2022.

Archana serves in a management capacity to direct and lead global immigration programs for global clients and spearheads business operations management for the firm’s U.S.-based Outbound Consular Practice and Document Services group. She also plays a crucial role in supporting key global initiatives for the firm’s technology integration, including API implementation for business visa and consular services for the firm’s cutting-edge short-term traveler compliance and management offering.

Archana excels at developing and implementing innovative mobility strategies across various industries, optimizing global immigration programs for efficiency and navigating complex corporate transactions and compliance matters. Her other focus areas include large-scale operations, business process reengineering, technology and automation of processes, and operational excellence and governance.

Archana's leadership extends to driving transformative realignment, resulting in notable enhancements in operational excellence and performance internally and externally. She has also been actively involved in business development, quality assurance and mentoring initiatives within the firm.

Archana played a critical role in establishing Fragomen’s India-based Managed Services Program (MSP), a unique service designed for large-scale immigration programs, reflecting her commitment to offering worldwide immigration support for clients. She also led the firm’s India inbound practice and worked in the U.S., where she managed the firm’s outbound consular program for U.S. clients traveling to India.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Archana served as the Head of Immigration at the Bengaluru offices of one of India’s largest software companies and worked at one of the world’s leading energy companies. She is also experienced in a variety of human resources functions.

Archana is a Certified ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor. She is trained in Six Sigma; Lean principles, tools and methodologies; and the Six Thinking Hats methodology.

Archana completed the following management development programs at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore: Embedding Leadership Excellence (2017) and Creativity, Reinvention and Self Development for Global Managers (2014).

Archana speaks English, Hindi, Kannada and Punjabi.

Experience

Provided immigration advice and mobility solutions for Fortune 500 corporations, medium-size enterprises and start-ups.

Participated in the preparation of a proposal that was submitted to the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs via an industry body and subsequently approved. Regulatory changes were implemented per the proposal, including the introduction of the Indian Internship visa and changes to minimum salary requirements for India employment visa holders.

Implemented new client service delivery strategies.

Provided government relations services, including working closely with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Indian embassies and consulates overseas, and local FRRO/FRO authorities for various Indian immigration policy matters and client requirements.

Performed proposal and contract negotiations, vendor relations management and operations management activities.

Designed and optimized processes and audits to support operational excellence.
