Arit is a Senior Associate at Fragomen’s San Diego office, where he assists employers and individuals with U.S. immigration matters, including employment and family-based petitions, citizenship and naturalization. He leverages his deep knowledge of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), agency regulations and policy updates to provide strategic, business-focused counsel aligned with each client’s long-term goals.
Arit collaborates with HR and stakeholders to align job descriptions with regulations and reduce audit risk. His immigrant visa practice covers I-140 petitions in EB-1 (including multinational managers/executives), EB-2 (advanced degree professionals and National Interest Waivers) and EB-3 categories, along with advising on priority date strategy and green card planning. He also guides foreign nationals through adjustment of status, consular processing and removal of conditions on permanent residence (I-751) to ensure smooth transitions.
Beyond petition work, Arit offers proactive compliance counseling. He advises employers on Form I-9 compliance, internal audits and maintenance of the public access files (PAF). His experience in risk management enables him to provide practical guidance that reduces exposure while supporting business growth.
