Barbara is an Associate at Fragomen’s Los Angeles office, where she focuses her practice on mid to small size corporate clients and investors in a wide variety of different industries. She helps guide clients through H-1B, L-1A and L-1B, O-1, TN, and similar nonimmigrant visa petitions in addition to EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 immigrant petitions. Barbara also works with individual investor clients EB-5 petitions, both through Regional Center and direct investment projects.
Barbara started her career working at an immigration law firm in the metro Detroit, Michigan, area and focused on physician immigration. She later joined a boutique firm in the metro Phoenix, Arizona, area where she managed a heavy caseload of physician and other business immigration matters in addition to investor and family petitions and I-9 compliance. After relocating to Southern California, Barbara worked at a mid-size firm before joining Fragomen. While in law school, Barbara participated in her university’s Domestic Violence Clinic, where she assisted survivors with VAWA, U visas and asylum applications.
