Camila is an Associate at Fragomen’s Chicago office, where she advises individuals and corporate clients on a broad range of employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, F-1, J-1, L-1, TN, O-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, PERM labor certification (including ETA-9141, recruitment, 9089 filings and audits), I-140 immigrant petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, naturalization and all respective dependent applications. She also has experience with corporate LZ filings (initials, amendments), internal audits and AAO appeals.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Camila worked as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternative Responsible Officer (ARO) for F-1 and J-1 students and scholars at large higher education institutions. She first joined Fragomen as a law clerk and later worked as a legal writer while in law school, focusing on complex legal writing including responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) for immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applications.

Camila has provided pro bono support for various organizations, including the American Bar Association ProBAR | South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project.

Camila speaks English and is a native Spanish speaker.
