Cynthia is an Associate at Fragomen’s Silicon Valley office. Prior to joining Fragomen, Cynthia worked for a direct-hire international healthcare recruiting agency in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she represented healthcare employers throughout the United States seeking to fill temporary and permanent healthcare positions. She oversaw the preparation and filing of immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions, including I-140, I-129 and PERM labor certifications. Additionally, she managed the Adjustment of Status caseload for temporary workers and recent graduates holding F status seeking to live and work permanently in the United States.
Cynthia’s previous experience also includes working at boutique immigration law firms in Maryland and North Carolina. She has handled family-based, humanitarian, asylum and removal defense matters, representing clients before USCIS and the Executive Office of Immigration Review. She has experience with responding to Requests for Evidence issued by USCIS for both family-based and business immigration cases.
During law school, Cynthia completed a judicial residency at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and assisted in the preparation of naturalization applications through volunteering at Church World Service in Greensboro, North Carolina. She received a Pro Bono Certificate of Recognition for completing over 75 hours of pro bono as a law student.
