Deok (Doug) is an Associate at Fragomen’s Los Angeles office, where he focuses on U.S. business immigration matters. Doug has experience advising clients on nonimmigrant visa matters (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN, E and O), immigrant visa matters (e.g., PERM-based immigration, extraordinary ability, outstanding researcher, multinational executives and managers, national interest waiver and immigrant investor) and immigration compliance matters (e.g., I-9 and E-Verify). Doug also has assisted clients with adjustment of status, consular processing, change of status, family-based immigration and naturalization.
Doug has represented clients in a variety of industries, including accounting, engineering, architecture, financial services, manufacturing, software, construction, entertainment, education, real estate, wholesale and fashion. He is a K-Move attorney for the Korean Embassy, working jointly with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to provide consultations and seminars.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Doug managed a boutique immigration law office, focusing on employment-based immigration law.
Doug speaks English and Korean.
