Fred is an Associate at Fragomen’s Pittsburgh office, where he advises business organizations on a variety of employment-based U.S. immigration matters. He works closely with corporate HR departments to assist in the development, implementation and management of large-scale strategies for employing diverse populations of nonimmigrant and immigrant employees in compliance with U.S. immigration law. Fred works with multinational corporate clients in a variety of industries, including software and technology, manufacturing, apparel, food and beverage, higher education and entertainment/film/television, as well as smaller companies and individual petitioners.

Fred has nearly a decade of employment-based immigration experience in a variety of capacities. His practice includes a focus on EB-1A/O-1 “Extraordinary Ability” petitions, EB-1B “Outstanding Researcher/Professor” petitions and EB-2 National Interest Waivers. Prior to joining Fragomen, he practiced immigration law at a major Pittsburgh law firm and spent several years as a senior paralegal at a boutique immigration firm working with EB-1/NIW self-petitioners in STEM.

Fred has prepared and filed habeas corpus petitions for ICE detainees and related oral arguments before immigration judges on a pro bono basis.
